Hi to all Broome Juniors

The Junior events for 2008 are as in previous years, the annual Junior match as well as the two "Teach-ins" run jointly by Broome AS and Charnwood Borough Council. Firstly I shall talk about the Junior match which again this year is on Colver Lake on Saturday 2nd August. Please arrive and meet in the car park before 9am. The draw is at 9am prompt with fishing from 10am to 3pm. As you are possibly aware this event has been poorly attended over the last couple of years so please if you are free on the day, do come and have a great days fishing, meet other Juniors and who knows you may win. There are the usual angling goodies to be had by all who attend as well as the chance to win something a bit more substantial. If you do intend to participate then please remember to bring your tackle, bait, refreshments and lastly wet weather clothing just in case the the weather is inclement. If any Junior is short of tackle or requires any further infomation for the event then drop me a line and I will do my best to help you out.

There are also two teach-in dates which this year are taking places on Friday 25th July and Friday 1st August. Please note that all current Broome Juniors are welcome. The events are free to participate and are very well sponsored by quite a few organisations. Bait will be provided on the day but if you want to bring your own well that OK.
